Easily Make Gathers in Lightweight Fabrics
The Janome Gathering Foot, also known as a shirring foot, allows you to easily ruffle a single layer of fabric by increasing the stitch length and thread tension. The longer the stitch length and the tighter the upper tension, the more gathering you will get. Works on light to medium weight fabrics. After the gathering step is complete, you can easily sew the gathered strip to a flat piece of fabric for a beautiful ruffled finish. Includes instructions.
